THE STORY
From Fresher to Resident
My journey with Mosh didn’t start behind the decks, it started on the dancefloor. As an 18-year-old fresher, Mosh quickly became one of my favourite places to go on a night out. I always wanted to DJ there, but I never applied because I genuinely didn’t think I was good enough.
Two years later, I finally backed myself and applied for a trial. It didn’t go the way I’d hoped. I wasn’t offered the Saturday residency because the team didn’t think I was quite ready. Instead, they gave me the opportunity to DJ Tuesday student nights.
Rather than seeing it as a setback, I saw it as a chance to prove myself. Week after week, I worked on my mixing, learned how to read different crowds and gained experience behind the decks. Before long, I was offered Saturday nights as a resident DJ.
As my role continued to grow, I was also given the opportunity to take on the Friday residency, making me the resident DJ across both nights.
