From Fresher to Resident
Every residency has a story, and mine started on the other side of the DJ booth.
As a first-year student, I spent countless nights at Mosh, inspired by the DJs behind the decks and imagining what it would be like to perform there myself. That ambition led me to apply for a trial, but I was not successful the first time.
Rather than giving up, I spent months improving my mixing, developing my confidence and learning how to read a crowd. When another opportunity came along, I was ready.
Today, I am proud to be the resident DJ every Friday and Saturday, bringing energy to the dancefloor every weekend.
Every Weekend Is Different
Every Friday and Saturday, I step behind the decks at Mosh Leicester, where no two nights are ever the same. Every crowd brings a different energy, making each set a new opportunity to read the room, adapt in the moment and keep the dancefloor moving from start to finish.
Being a resident DJ has challenged me to grow both technically and creatively. Performing week after week has strengthened my confidence, sharpened my crowd reading and reinforced the importance of creating memorable experiences through music.
